Delta Railroad Services Appoints Linda Laurello as New CEO

Linda Laurello will succeed Larry Laurello as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately


ASHTABULA, OHIO — Delta Railroad Services today announced the appointment of Linda Laurello as CEO. She replaces Larry Laurello, who served more than 40 years with the company. Larry will remain actively involved with the company’s business development efforts. 


An experienced C-Level leader in the company, Linda spent more than 20 years working at Delta Railroad Services in various project management, field, and financial oversight roles. Most recently, she served as the company’s Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. 


In 2014, Linda was named “VIP Professional Woman of the Year for Leadership in Business” by the National Association of Professional Women. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from John Carroll University and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Northeastern University.


Linda said, “My vision for the next generation of Delta Railroad Services will focus on innovation, expansion, and visibility. We will continue the legacy of excellence in client services that my great-grandfather, Cosmo Anthony Laurello, started when he founded the company in 1957.” 

She continues, “I look forward to serving as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer. I would be remiss if I did not take a moment to thank my family, friends, and colleagues who have played a role in my career journey and the hundreds of loyal and hardworking past and present Delta Railroad Services friends, employees, and customers.”
